Ulaanbaatar Amazons Make Asian Debut

The Ulaanbaatar Amazons are making their debut in the FIBA Women’s Basketball League Asia, where the champions of Asian leagues compete. Drawn into Group A, the Mongolian team is facing the Chinese league champions Dongguan New Century and the Taiwanese champions Cathay Life.

In their opening match, the Amazons went up against host team Dongguan but suffered a 90–74 defeat. On the other side of the tournament, the champions of Japan, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea are competing.
