Tourist Arrivals Up 21% in First 7 Months
Mongolia is experiencing strong growth in tourism, with 457,200 foreign visitors recorded in the first seven months of this year. According to the National Statistics Office, this marks a 21.2% increase compared to the same period last year, reflecting the country’s rising appeal as a travel destination.
By country of origin, China topped the list with 120,900 tourists, followed closely by Russia with 120,600 visitors, and South Korea with 98,000. These three countries together account for nearly three-quarters of total arrivals, highlighting the importance of regional tourism.
