Public Transport Sector Revenue Rises

Thanks to the phased introduction of new buses, technological upgrades, and expanded routes, revenue in the public transport sector increased by 68.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the first seven months of the year:
-Number of passenger boardings: 91.2 million (including repeat trips)
-Ticket revenue: ₮30.3 billion

Notably, the capital city government increased its shareholding in Ulaanbaatar Smart Card LLC to 79 percent, enabling greater oversight of ticket revenue and fare regulation.
