PM Announces Mining AI Initiative
The largest gathering in the mining sector, Mining Week & MinePro 2025, took place for three days near the Taj Khairhan mountain. Over 400 companies, both domestic and international, participated in the event, addressing key industry issues and discussing new technologies and partnerships.
During the event, Prime Minister G.Zandanshatar announced the goal of increasing sector productivity by combining big data and artificial intelligence, aiming to rapidly introduce innovations and digital solutions in geology, exploration, and extraction. As part of the Mining AI initiative, he expressed Mongolia’s readiness to collaborate with various stakeholders to transform the country into a hub for mining technology.
