Parliament Elects J.Bat-Erdene as New Deputy Speaker

At Wednesday’s plenary session, Parliament elected J.Bat-Erdene, Member of Parliament, as the new Deputy Speaker of the State Great Khural.

The ruling party caucus had nominated him to replace former Deputy Speaker Kh.Bulgantuya, who was dismissed after being accused of violating the Constitution. J.Bat-Erdene previously served as head of the MPP parliamentary group.

Of the 78 members present at the session, all voted in favor of his appointment, confirming him unanimously as Deputy Speaker.
