Oyu Tolgoi Will Skip Hearing Over Safety Concerns

Oyu Tolgoi (OT) has declined to attend the upcoming hearing of Parliament’s temporary review committee, citing increased misinformation, unfounded accusations, and organized groups disrupting its office operations. The company said it must prioritize employee safety and well-being.

OT stated it has fully cooperated with the committee, submitting over 30,000 pages of documents, and reaffirmed its commitment to work transparently with government bodies to ensure long-term, sustainable, and balanced operations.
