No Need to Panic Over Fuel Says Minister
Minister of Industry and Minerals G.Damdinyam called on citizens not to worry about fuel reserves and to purchase fuel according to their actual needs. Recent reports of fuel shortages have led to long queues forming across the country.
He noted that daily fuel deliveries have doubled to 1,800 tons, yet demand remains unusually high—about three times greater than normal consumption.
According to the Ministry, Mongolia has already reached agreements with Russia and China to increase fuel imports, and additional shipments are now being arranged to stabilize the market.
