Prime Minister G.Zandanshatar appointed MP B.Enkhbayar as Minister of Justice and Home Affairs. He took his oath during Friday’s parliamentary session.
After losing in the Mongolian People’s Party’s (MPP) internal election, Zandanshatar had pledged to intensify the fight against corruption in the coal sector—a promise now reflected in this appointment.

Enkhbayar previously served as Deputy Minister of Justice (2016–2018) and later as Minister (2023–2024). He has been elected to Parliament twice consecutively since 2020.
