Mongolian President Meets World Leaders at UN Assembly

While in New York, President U.Khurelsukh met with UN Secretary-General A.Guterres. He expressed gratitude for the adoption of Mongolia’s initiative on a “World Horse Day” resolution and noted that Mongolia is preparing at a high level to host COP17 in 2026. The President also held an official meeting with Finnish President A.Stubb. The two sides discussed cooperation in renewable energy, economy, and environmental issues, as well as opportunities for Mongolian students to study in Finland under the “Message 2100” program. President Stubb invited U.Khurelsukh to make an official visit to Finland.

In addition, President U.Khurelsukh met with Montenegrin President J.Milatović during the UN General Assembly. The two leaders discussed upcoming activities in connection with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between their countries, which will be marked in 2026.
