Mongolia Triumphs with 18 Medals at Robot Challenge
The Mongolian team achieved outstanding results at the international “Robot Challenge” competition held in Beijing, China from August 15 to 19, winning a total of 18 medals: 6 gold, 7 silver, and 5 bronze. More than 100 participants represented Mongolia, including teams from the Mongolian Robotics Development Association, several schools in Ulaanbaatar and the provinces, showcasing the country’s growing strength in robotics on the global stage.
This year’s competition gathered over 5,000 participants from 42 countries. Mongolia has now competed five times since 2018, securing first place in the “Robot Rugby” event for the fourth time. Founded in Austria in 2004 and relocated to China in 2017, the event has grown into one of the world’s largest AI-driven robotics competitions, with participants from 82 countries.
