Mongolia Earns First Ever Olympic Spot in Alpine Skiing

Next February, the 25th Winter Olympic Games will take place in Milan–Cortina, Italy. Mongolian national team athlete A.Ariunbat has now secured a place to compete in the alpine skiing events.

This marks the first time in Mongolia’s history that an athlete will participate in alpine skiing at the Winter Olympics. A.Ariunbat earned his qualification at a four-run international competition recently held in Dubai.

Before this, B.Achbadrakh and E.Ariuntungalag had already secured their spots in cross-country skiing.
