Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Honors Olympiad Medalists

Ulaanbaatar Mayor Kh.Nyambaatar welcomed and honored students and teachers who achieved success in international Olympiads held this summer. Students who won gold medals were awarded MNT 3 million, silver medalists MNT 2 million, bronze medalists MNT 1 million, and those receiving special prizes MNT 500,000.

Additionally, J.Yondonsambuu, a teacher from School No. 11 whose student won a gold medal, was presented with a certificate for MNT 150 million toward a rent-to-own apartment.

The mayor also announced that, starting next year, the city will cover the cost of round-trip airfare for students selected to represent Mongolia at international Olympiads.
