The Climate Film Festival is the largest U.S. film event dedicated to climate change. This year, Mongolian filmmaker and journalist D.Delgerzaya (TenGer TV, Reuters) had her work “Herders at the Edge” selected for the festival. Over 450 films were submitted for consideration in this year’s program.

The film portrays how the daily life of an ordinary herder family in Bayankhongor Province is changing under the impact of climate change. Last year, it became the first Mongolian production to receive a grant from the prestigious Pulitzer Center.

D.Delgerzaya has also been nominated in the festival’s Best Young Director category for filmmakers under 30. The Climate Film Festival will take place in New York City from September 19 to 22.
