Over the past year, the Presidents of Mongolia and Uzbekistan paid reciprocal visits and agreed to expand cooperation in several areas.

One of these agreements was that Uzbekistan would purchase a total of 100,000 live sheep and goats from Mongolia. The first shipment of 15,000 sheep is now ready for transport.

Mongolia also plans to export processed meat products, with efforts underway to sell them directly through retail chains.
