“Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi” JSC Sets Sales Record

Last Wednesday, the company sold coal worth $43.8 million through three separate transactions on the Mongolian Stock Exchange. This marks the highest-value trade since May 2024.

It has been one month since the government placed Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC under a special regime. During this period, the company has carried out 19 transactions, selling a total of 1.4 million tons of coal and generating $89.7 million in revenue. This figure already surpasses the company’s sales results for the entire previous half year.

During the special regime, a task force led by U.Byambasüren, Deputy Chief of the Cabinet Secretariat, has been focusing on four key areas: mining, transportation, sales, and improving other operations.
