Development Bank CEO Removed
Narantuya, a former Member of Parliament from the Democratic Party (DP) and regarded as one of the party’s most influential figures, was one of the last appointees made under the previous coalition government between the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) and the DP.
The bank’s newly restructured Board of Directors had appointed her to the acting position on November 7, 2024. However, according to the Law on the Development Bank of Mongolia, such appointments must be made through an open international selection process.
