D-gov.mn, a New Citizen-Government Portal Opens
As part of its policy to be “people-centered and closer to citizens,” the government has launched the website D-gov.mn. Through the site, citizens and civil society organizations can submit proposals regarding government policies and activities.
According to the new system, if a proposal submitted by a citizen or legal entity receives between 20,000 and 100,000 online endorsements, it will qualify to be discussed at a Cabinet meeting. Each proposal must also remain on the platform for at least 30 days, during which its progress and decision-making process will be made publicly accessible.
