Carbon Monoxide Claims Two Lives
The National Center for Public Health released its two-week surveillance report on carbon monoxide poisoning. According to the report, two people have died and 59 others received medical treatment for poisoning during this period.
This year, Ulaanbaatar authorities are working to connect 172,000 households to a central monitoring system for carbon monoxide detectors. The system will automatically send a phone alert within five seconds when gas is detected. If no response is received, a rapid response team will be dispatched within 5–7 minutes to check the situation.
